The existing AI-Enabled Organisations programme at LUMS focuses on senior executives and prioritises strategy. |
|
Practical AI skills: Participants will learn how to effectively interact with GenAI systems and design AI agents. We will focus on job-enhancement skills, improving operational efficiency and mitigating risk. |
Through innovative pedagogical tools, interactive discussions and hallmark case studies, the participants will come across the following areas:
- Foundation of AI and generative AI: Overview of AI, machine-learning vs. generative AI, capabilities and limitations; business use cases across industries.
- Prompt engineering: Strategies for writing effective prompts) and best practices.
- Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG): Combining LLMs with external data sources to produce context-specific answers and reduce hallucinations.
- Building gen-AI workflows: Use of tools and low-code platforms to chain LLMs with retrieval or business logic.
- Agentic AI: Definition and operation of agentic AI—semi-autonomous systems that interpret goals, plan, make decisions, adjust behaviour and coordinate tools. Differences between agentic and generative A.
- Designing AI agents: Frameworks to build AI agents that perceive, reason, plan, act and learn
- Ethical and responsible AI: Fairness, transparency, accountability, privacy and security—core principles for responsible AI deployment.
- Change management and strategic alignment: How managers champion AI adoption, build governance frameworks and align AI projects with business objectives.
